Easy music licencsing

Slashing administration time in half, a joint initiative of Australia’s two music rights management bodies - OneMusic Australia - will launch on 1 July 2019.

From next month, thousands of existing customers will be notified of the transition from the decades-old two-licence system to a one-licence system.
OneMusic Australia is a joint music licensing initiative of APRA AMCOS and PPCA.
Prior to the official launch, almost 100 organisations trialed the option of the combined, turnkey licence and are reaping the rewards of reduced administration time both at sign-up and at annual reporting.
There are 25 licence schemes to launch across the next financial year and all sectors have a customised scheme.
Australia is only the second country in the world to bring the separate rights (in the song and in the recording) into one licence. New Zealand launched OneMusic New Zealand five years ago combining APRA AMCOS and PPNZ. Music-using businesses in some countries require Licence Agreements with four separate organisations.
