C1.2	Tariff	Music for Clubs
	Formulation	Per member, subject to a flat fee minima and a legacy licence fee cap. Deduction mechanism available for different uses.
(i)	Processes/methodologies	Initially mirrored off Hotel licence scheme. Later negotiated with Clubs Australia, on behalf of the state-based associations (industry body). Use of membership numbers is a common method for determining licence fees for public performance of music for businesses and organisations that operate on a membership basis.
	Underlying data used	Tariff data (during negotiations with Clubs Australia). APRA generally uses a mix of relevant data sources to determine licence rates and impact on a particular business. This includes common sources of music, shifts in demand and changes in technology.
