Setting up your business with an ABN and music licence

If you are on the Australian Business Register (ABR) website and setting up your business with the necessary paperwork, don't forget to check out if you need a music licence to avoid infringing anyone's copyright.

If you plan to play music, you'll likely need permission. Music in a business is different than music played at home.

OneMusic Australia is a body that issues licences to business to use almost every song you can think of, all styles of music, almost two million songs from here and around the world.

Licences start from less than $100 a year.
