Music Recognition Technology trial

OneMusic is looking for Sydney based venues/businesses who would like to be a part of an exciting Music Recognition Technology trial.

OneMusic is looking to trial some Music Recognition Technology in Australian businesses. We are looking for Sydney based venues/businesses who would like to be a part of this exciting trial – championing direct-royalty-payments-to-plays, participating businesses would be at the forefront of this exciting change. We’ll keep you in the loop as the program emerges. 

• Four week no-cost trial in March 2022.
• There are two separate devices that will be installed on-site - from two separate operators Airplay Media and BMAT (in operation in a number of countries in Europe). We’ll do the installation and removal.
• The device records short segments of music played in the business and matches that music through ‘fingerprinting’ technology to a large database of music. Similar to Shazam.
• The Airplay Media device plugs into a main power socket.
• The BMAT device accesses a ‘line out’ from the device playing the audio.
• Wi-Fi access would be beneficial but is not essential.
