Dance Vision syllabus and music licensing

The Australian Dance Vision syllabus has been cleared by the OneMusic research team to be in the public domain (that is, out of copyright).

The Australian Dance Vision syllabus does not include sound recordings protected by PPCA, one of the bodies behind OneMusic.

Australian Dance Vision paid for and coordinated (in other words, commissioned) the recordings of these songs and compositions at Supersonic studios/SONAR.

What does that mean for me?

Savings. Dance schools and dance instructors who use Australian Dance Vision syllabus in class can deduct these particular classes in their total ’Number of Classes Per Week’ figure - page 2 of their OneMusic Licence Agreement -
