Music Licence for Community Halls

You benefit by allowing our music to be played at your hall as you are more likely to have a steady stream of bookings due to the music use permission you have.

If you operate a community hall not owned and operated by Council, the Community Halls licence scheme is designed for you to cover the use of our music at that hall. This may be a church hall, a scout/guide hall, a school of arts hall or any other type of community hall. Halls owned by a local Council are licensed under the OneMusic Councils licence scheme. Learn more about how the licence fee for this scheme was set.

Under the Community Halls licence scheme there are two types of cover: Background Music for Community Halls and Premium Live Performances. For more details and our rates, please download the Information Sheet.
