OneMusic Australia extends its warm congratulations to our Licensee of the Year for 2022, Great Big Events!
Great Big Events are a strategic and creative agency partner, and create meaningful connections through Sport Presentation and Fan Engagement, bringing a broad range of expertise to the industry.
Great Big Events were one of the first licensees to take out the OneMusic Sports blanket licence, demonstrating their understanding of the importance of music licensing and the value music adds to events. They always provide timely reporting with full details of music use, which ensure the licence fees can be efficiently distributed to the music creators. In a space where collecting accurate music use data can be a laborious process, they never fail to provide full and accurate data to ensure both APRA members and affiliates, and PPCA licensors receive the royalties they are entitled to for music use at Sporting events.
Predominantly, Great Big Events license the use of music for their client’s sporting events, and specifically for 2021 this was predominately Rugby Events. However, they are a multi-faceted company, working across numerous specialist areas, including brand design & content, music production, ceremonies & experiences, technical management & strategy, bid support, budget forecasting and more.
Great Big Events are no strangers to having their proficiency acknowledged, winning the award for Event Management Company of the Year at the 2020 Australian Event Awards.
